Ans : Qutb ud-Din Aibak

Slave dynasty as it is also known as Mamluk dynasty. Qutb-ud-din Aibak was slave of Muhamad Gori. When Muhammad Gori was returning back to Qutb-ud-din Aibak  was appointed the governor of North India. 

At the time of death of Gori, there were 3 contenders for the territories of Ghori. Yalduz, kubacha & Qutb-ud-din Aibak. Yalduz recieved Ghazni, Kubacha - Sindh & Multan, Qutb-ud-din Aibak - North India.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak started to rule from 25 June,1206.( foundation of slave dynasty laid)

Qutb-ud-din Aibak's capital was Lahore.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak started the formation of Qutub Minar but it was completed by Iltutmish.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak was also known as lakh baksh.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak died while playing chaugan in lahore in 1210.
